About us
Surrounded by a unique terroir swept by the salty winds of the St. Lawrence River, since 1977, Fromagerie de l'Île-aux-Grues has contributed to the preservation of agriculture and the terroir of Isle-aux-Grues, in addition to passing on the know-how of artisanal cheese processing. The cheese dairy exclusively processes milk from the island’s dairy producers into exceptional fine cheeses that have been recognized many times in international competitions.
