Ingredients (for 4 tartlets):
- 2 tbsp L’Ancêtre organic salted butter
- 1/2 tsp liquid vanilla
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3 Cortland apples, peeled and quartered
- 4 baked sweet pastry shells
- 75 g (2.5 oz) L’Ancêtre aged organic cheddar, grated
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to broil.
- In a skillet, melt the butter with the vanilla and brown sugar over high heat until caramelized.
- Add the lemon juice and cook for another 15–20 seconds.
- Add the apples and caramelize, turning them often.
- Divide the apples among the tartlet shells and top with grated cheddar.
- Broil for 1 to 2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
👉 Serve immediately with the remaining caramel.
Tip: You can swap the apples for peaches, or use firmer apple varieties like Lobo, Spartan or Empire for a different texture.


Recipe 3: Spiced Hot Chocolate 🍫

Ingredients (for 2 large mugs):
- 2 tbsp (30 g) Julie Vachon Spiced Hot Chocolate Mix
- 1 to 2 squares (5 to 10 g) Julie Vachon 64% Guyaquil Dark Chocolate
- 500 ml whole milk (or plant-based alternative)
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat.
- Add the hot chocolate mix and chocolate squares.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into large mugs and top generously with whipped cream.

Recipe 4: Maple and Mustard Braised Blade Roast 🍁

- 1 beef blade roast (about 1.5 to 2 kg), locally and naturally raised
- 1/2 cup Aux Petits Plaisirs maple mustard
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Place the roast in a slow cooker and add the onion, garlic, and broth.
- Generously coat the meat with the maple mustard.
- Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours, or on high for 4 to 5 hours.

Recipe 5: Honey and Brie Gourmet Bread 🍯
Presented by Un Goût de Miel
Ingredients (serves 6 to 8 for sharing):
- 1 round country-style loaf
- 1 wheel of Brie or Camembert (depending on the size of the bread)
- 1/2 cup nuts of your choice
- 3 fresh figs, diced
- 1 apple, diced
- 3 to 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 2 shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 to 3 tbsp Un Goût de Miel honey
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the bacon and shallots until the bacon is crispy.
- Add the nuts, apples, figs, and a drizzle of honey. Cook until the nuts are slightly softened.
- Slice off the top of the bread and hollow it out (save the inside for another recipe). Brush the inside with honey.
- Spoon a bit of the filling into the base, place the Brie (lightly scored on top), then add the rest of the filling.
- Drizzle with more honey, wrap the whole thing in foil, and bake for 15–20 minutes.
- Unwrap and bake another 5–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
👉 Serve right away by tearing pieces of bread and dipping into the gooey, flavour-packed centre!
