This year, Bas-Saint-Laurent and Chaudière-Appalaches are unveiling brand-new experiences to savour. Come explore these two regions, rich with culinary treasures! 🌿🍇
BAS-SAINT-LAURENT

1. Projet La Ruche – An Interactive and Educational Trail
This summer, the La Ruche Project is enhancing the visitor experience with a new interactive and educational trail designed to raise awareness about key topics like the environment, biodiversity, agricultural practices, and more. The trail features informative panels combining key concepts, photographs, and stories from the founding family. A QR code gives access to exclusive testimonials from the founders and passionate team members who share their expertise and their role in the business.
An immersive initiative that invites the public to see and appreciate the agricultural world from a whole new perspective! 🔎 🐝
2. Côté Est – Unique and Customizable Culinary Adventures
This year, the Mycomigrateur Expedition Experience is evolving to offer an even more personalized adventure! Still led by chef Kim Côté and his vintage LandCruiser, this one-of-a-kind 4×4 outing through the Kamouraska Highlands now adapts to the preferences of each group of four adventurers. Whether it’s discovering wild forest products, enjoying an outdoor meal, sipping a wild-foraged apéro, or visiting a local producer, each expedition becomes a custom-made experience—based on the group’s interests and the chef’s availability.
And to celebrate Mushroom Month, on September 12, 13, and 14, 2025, the Buvette at Côté Est will host the Festins Mycologiques, a five-course gourmet feast highlighting mushrooms and non-timber forest products. This unique culinary event is a true celebration of wild flavours, showcasing the richness of the undergrowth through inspired, refined dishes. Each bite is an invitation to explore the complexity and authenticity of edible wild ingredients. 🍄🟫🍂

3. Boulangerie Du Pain… c’est tout! – A True Local Product, Built on Hard Work and Passion!
Since October 2024, all breads and pastries have been made using flour milled on-site. The organic wheats are sourced from local farmers and processed in a small-scale artisanal mill. This approach helps reduce costs to keep products accessible, while ensuring top quality thanks to freshly milled flour.
Since 2018, partnerships have been developed with regional growers to cultivate heritage wheat varieties such as Marquis, Huron, and Red Fife. However, the 2022 drought caused the loss of part of the seed stock. The goal now is to revive this work, mill the grains in-house, and offer exceptional products—all while preserving and passing on an authentic artisanal skill. 🥖 🍞

Raisins Bio-Vital is celebrating its 7th season of U-pick, inviting visitors to harvest five varieties of certified organic grapes right from the vineyard.
Set in a charming landscape, guests are welcomed at the farm stand with warmth and hospitality, and can discover a variety of homemade products: pure grape juice, garlic, freshly picked plums and pears, honey products, and natural cosmetics made with herbs grown on-site. Come enjoy this sensory experience every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., from September 8 to mid-October. An authentic immersion in the heart of the vineyard! 🍇🍷
5. Ferme pédagogique Marichel – A Festive and Community-Focused Year as Marichel Turns 30!
This year, Marichel Educational Farm is celebrating 30 years of activity! To mark the occasion, a brand-new family-friendly program has been launched, including immersive themed weekends on the farm.
The can’t-miss annual open house took place on May 25, 2025, offering visitors a full day of unique activities and meaningful connections. Throughout the year, other events are also being held, such as a farm-to-table dinner, an evening show, and much more.
At the same time, a fundraising campaign has been launched to offer summer camp experiences to children from underprivileged backgrounds—a wonderful way to share the farm’s educational and inclusive values! 🧑🌾🚜
