We are the Association de l’Agrotourisme et du Tourisme Gourmand du Québec, a sectoral tourism association recognized by Québec’s Ministry of Tourism. We are Québec’s only provincial food tourism network and have been so since 1975!
What is food tourism?
It is the discovery of a region by tourists and other visitors through agritourism and bio-food activities as well as through unique culinary experiences.
Food tourism showcases the savoir-faire of agricultural producers and artisans who welcome and help guests explore Quebec’s local products and dishes.
Terroir et Saveurs du Québec is the brand image of the Association. It is a guarantee of quality recognized throughout Québec for culinary ambassadors passionate about the Québec terroir and who provide enriching agritourism activities and authentic gourmet experiences.
Our large family represents a diverse mix of businesses: food producers, artisan food product processors, establishments offering regional cuisine or selling local products, all contributing to making Québec a world-renowned gourmet destination.
The Association’s mission is to represent, develop and promote the food tourism sector, as well as provide leadership and coordination for the implementation of the Provincial Action Plan for the Future of Food Tourism in Quebec, while supporting companies in their professionalization and in the development of the quality of their offer and their gourmet experience.
